connected with 2nd NIC after reboot

Featured Replies

My Unraid server have two ethernet, 1st is build-in with motherboard (A) and 2nd is USB NIC (B). Only NIC (A) physically connected, NIC (B) is unplugged. I give static IP to NIC (A) according to it's MAC address.

Sometime after reboot the system, I found the IP of Unraid server changed because it connected with NIC (B)'s MAC address, it was very strange as the NIC (B) is still unplugged. how Unraid swap two MAC address.

I don't know if this is a bug or not. can I hardcode Unraid to use NIC (A)?

That's strange but if you disable NIC bonding in network settings and set NIC A as eth0 it might help.
