JeZuZ0711
Hi, I'm running my Unraid setup for 2 years on a Dell R720 with zero issues until I tried switching to 10GB ethernet. So I switched to a Dell daughter board with 2 SFP+ and 2 RJ45 Ports. This Setup was working for the last 2 Weeks but I had poor read speeds. Client is connected via 2.5GBE and reads with about 500MBit and writes with the expected 2.5GBit. So I started testing the networt changing SFPs, iPerf etc. When I switched to 1GBE copper while troubleshooting and back to 10GBE at some point SMB stoppt working. Everything is enabled and no changes to configs were made. I rebooted, started stopped SMB, reverted to a previous Version but no luck. It would be highly appreciated if someone could check my diagnostics, as I'm out of ideas right now Thank You! unraid-srv-diagnostics-20221114-1704.zip Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Try resetting LAN settings, delete/rename /boot/config/network.cfg and network-rules.cfg and reboot. Quote Link to comment

Solution JorgeB Posted November 14, 2022 Solution Share Posted November 14, 2022 Upgrade de UD Plugin and reboot. Quote Link to comment
JeZuZ0711
Thank you @JorgeB, UD Plugin update fixed it. Should I start a new topic for the Speed Issue? SMB is now working but I'm still stuck at 50MB/s reading from the Array. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Start by running a single stream iperf test in both directions. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
That confirms it's a LAN problem, usually NIC, NIC driver or setting, switch, , cables, client PC, etc. Quote Link to comment
JeZuZ0711
Yes, after checking all scenarios I found the issue. It's my onboard 2.5GBE NIC not working with my RJ45 SFP+. Ordered an other brand and will recheck. Thanks again @JorgeB 1 Quote Link to comment
