I have done some searching and seemingly the first step is to try and run an extended SMART test. When I try to run it, it completes very quickly with a message "Completed: read failure". The array seems to running ok without issue. I am assuming the answer to this is to replace the drive but I just wanted to check with you experts before I start taking things to pieces.
