josh5565
I have been banging my head against the wall for days on this issue. ryanm91
I don't see a vbios, do you just have one card? Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment
josh5565
I have run a vbios dump and it should be seeing it. <rom file='/mnt/user/domains/gpu rx6600.rom'/> Quote Link to comment
josh5565
I should mention that it does boot into windows 10, stuck at 800x600 resolution & getting code 43 Quote Link to comment
ryanm91
I should mention that it does boot into windows 10, stuck at 800x600 resolution & getting code 43Code 43 typically needs the kvm hidden state if I recall Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment
josh5565
I tried adding <kvm> <hidden state='on'/> </kvm> No success Also made some other changes <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='pci' managed='yes'> <driver name='vfio'/> <source> <address domain='0x0000' bus='0x03' slot='0x00' function='0x0'/> </source> <rom file='/mnt/user/domains/gpu rx6600.rom'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x04' slot='0x00' function='0x0' multifunction='on'/> </hostdev> <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='pci' managed='yes'> <driver name='vfio'/> <source> <address domain='0x0000' bus='0x03' slot='0x00' function='0x1'/> </source> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x04' slot='0x00' function='0x1'/> </hostdev> Still no success....I thought I had really fixed it with finding the bus mismatch for the graphics/sound side of the card. josh5565
So I spent yet another day working on this. Trying different combinations of configuration from pcie acs overide from within the gui & from the syslinux.cfg Also decided to install windows on the bare metal just to see if their wasn't a problem with GPU. Unfortunately the card did work just fine in windows (sounds weird having that mentality) Quote Link to comment

josh5565
10 hours ago, ghost82 said: video=efifb:off in syslinux configuration I have tried that along with video=vesafb:off No matter what I do, I get code 43 inside of windows. Honestly just dont get it, it's not the primary GPU in the bios either. attached a fresh diagnostics tower-diagnostics-20221204-1501.zip Edited December 4, 2022 by josh5565 Quote Link to comment
Solution josh5565 Posted December 4, 2022 Author Solution Share Posted December 4, 2022 (edited) Found the problem finally! The motherboard I am running is an AsRock B660 Pro RS. It simply needed flashed & updated to the latest bios! Seems the problem was the bios wasn't recognizing that the graphics card was installed despite it being there inside of UnRaid & Windows. This in return wasn't allowing CSM to fully turn on! Edited December 4, 2022 by josh5565 Quote Link to comment
