February 7, 20233 yr Hi All!, I'm barely new to Unraid, I'm trying to run a docker container entirely on the cache NvMe drive to be able to spin down all of the hard drives. I've already set the appdata share to cache only. Do I have to configure anything else? because when I open the webUI of the docker the hard drives wake up... Thank you! best regards Simone
February 8, 20233 yr Community Expert Docker image must also be on cache, by default it's on the system share.
February 8, 20233 yr Author Thank you for your reply... I send you an image of what I have on my cache disk and in my Docker config. Don't know if I have to change also the default appdata storage location...

February 13, 20233 yr Author I send you what I have on Shares. I think that everything is on cache but I have the parity protect error...
February 13, 20233 yr Community Expert That warning is normal for a single device pool, since there's no redundancy.
February 13, 20233 yr Author Thank you, Now I see all of the HDD in standby mode. To fix this "problem" the only solution is to add a second cache drive? Or there's a way to store a safety copy of the data on the main pool?
February 13, 20233 yr Community Expert To have redundancy on cache you'd need to add a new device, but note that even with redundancy you should have backups of anything important.
