February 14, 20233 yr I am trying to figure out why I have a disk disabled. It has been working great, but is now being disabled. Diagnostics are attached. I did recently make some hardware changes, including adding a Nvidia Video card for Plex transcoding. bb-8-diagnostics-20230214-1352.zip
February 15, 20233 yr Community Expert It's not logged as a disk problem and the disk looks healthy, so most likely a power/connection problem, replace/swap cables/slot to rule that out and if the emulated disk is mounting and contents look correct you can rebuild on top
February 15, 20233 yr Author I'm currently running a new pre-clear on it. Once it is done I will do that. Although my thought is if it finishes the pre-clear successfully, it shouldn't be a connection issue (i.e. I am wondering if it is from the Nvidia card, even though I have an 850 watt PSU in it).
February 16, 20233 yr Author @JorgeBDo you think it is possible a USB on its way out could cause these errors?
February 16, 20233 yr Author What about the inability to save settings? Tonight I will be pulling my nVidia card out of my server as it worked fine until I added it.
