mplogas - Support Thread for container(s)

Featured Replies

Quick little pro-tip for forum posterity.

I force updated the LaaC image today because I was doing some system maintenance (don't ask, I didn't need to do it, but I did), and afterward I was getting this error in the LaaC docker log on container start:

ERROR: no device matches available drivers and selection criteria

Thinking I messed the image up, I deleted my template and reinstalled from Community Apps, though I was met with the same error. The device was still recognized on the host in the /sys/bus/usb/devices/X-Y and /dev/bus/usb/XXX/YYY locations (I use the former in my template) so it wasn't an availability issue. On a lark, I thought that the device might not have been let go correctly by docker when I force updated the image and the device is now bound to an invalid endpoint (or something like that). So I stopped the running LaaC container, and ran these commands in a su terminal:

echo 'X-Y' | tee /sys/bus/usb/drivers/usb/unbind
echo 'X-Y' | tee /sys/bus/usb/drivers/usb/bind

Upon restarting the LaaC container, my Corsair Commander was once again able to be seen by liquidctl.

Hope this helps someone in the future!

Hi there, i know this is an old topic, but i am trying to install the "bonob" container to connect to Navidrome, but i cant get the container to run.

It shows that it installs correctly but on the docker page, it reports as stopped.

Even if i start it manually, after a few seconds it shows as stopped again.

I try to view the log, but it only shows a "Press any button to quit the page".

I am running unraid 7.1.1

Hi, I stopped using Bonob when Sonos removed the http option for devices in the LAN. You said the logs aren't showing - this is odd!

Could you try to long-click (left mouse button) on the bonob container-icon in the docker overview? This will show you a flyout menu and allow you to see the log in a new browser window.

Does this window also show the error message?

Hi, Thanks for the reply. This is a image from the log option when left clicking the docker icon.

I'm afraid no, check out the support thread for Bonob or Navidrome on GH.
This request is also somewhat outside of the scope for this thread.

OK, thanks
