February 28, 20233 yr I have a supermicro server, and I added a new 10gbe NIC card to upgrade the speed. Do I need to configure anything in the bios or it usually work right away? Cause mine doesn't connect.

March 3, 20233 yr i also added a 10Gb sfp+ card yesterday in my server. At first boot card was detected but no link. At second reboot i was able to modifiy it to be eth0 and link was established. There was just bridging and no bonding Edited March 3, 20233 yr by caplam
