knowpistons
Question 1: So the other day I reset the BIOS on my MoBo on accident, I thought I set everything as I did before but now all the drives connected to the Marvell 9230 controller are having errors 2 have read errors and 1 drive has been disabled. When I removed the disabled drive and attempt to rebuild, it gets to 50-75% and then fails again. All smart tests have passed, VT-D is disabled, iommu=pt, has been added to SYSLINUX Config. Is there a setting in the BIOS that I forgot to enable or disable? Question 2: The Marvell controller would be a moot point if my SAS card was detected, I have a drive connected to it but it does not show anywhere. Is there something else I need to do in Unraid, BIOS or to the card itself to get this working? big-savy-diagnostics-20230301-2321.zip Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Marvell controllers are known to be flaky and not recommended, which HBA do you have? Not seeing any on the device list. Quote Link to comment

JorgeB
HBA not showing up is not a software problem, try a different PCIe slot if available and/or try it in a different PC to confirm it's working. Quote Link to comment
