Brian Yuen
Hi, I'm currently digging into the world of VMs. After successfully installing Ubuntu Desktop, I wanted to experiment with different Linux distros. Hearing good things about Fedora so why not give it a shot as a VM? The Live CD booted successfully and I wanted to install it, however no drives were found under my system. I've burned a few hours through trial and error as well as Googling, but can't find a solution. I have a hunch it has to do with the hardware mapping, although I don't know exactly what to look for. Any help would be great.. I've attached a few screen grabs. Quote Link to comment
Solution JonathanM Posted March 12, 2023 Solution Share Posted March 12, 2023 Try setting the primary vdisk bus to SATA instead of virtio. Quote Link to comment
Brian Yuen
I feel like I've tried that a million times, but it seemed to work after your comment 🤨 Anyway, thank you! Quote Link to comment
