March 25, 20233 yr Hi, Bought two 6x sata PCIEx1 cards to replace some LSI ones for use in a new system with ASROCK z690 Riptide board. The cards have a chipset and I'm not able to see drives detected in the system, any help to get this setup? Thanks htpc-vault-diagnostics-20230324-2009.zip
March 25, 20233 yr Community Expert They use the standard AHCI driver, problem is that they are not being detected by Linux, it's not a software issue.

(Plus, I seem to recall that more than 2ports on a card in a PCIex1 slot will have lower throughput...)
