Trying to determine cause of unexpected reboot

Recommended Posts

Hello fellow unraiders,

I just experienced my first unexpected reboot and I'd like to investigate causes.

Is there any logfile that i can check wether it's OS-related or power grid related?

I'm kind of suspecting my tasmota plug I'm using to monitor power consumption.

Is it common behaviour that Parity-Check is automatically running? Does that indicate anything about reasons for reboot?

Thanks in advance

The regular syslog starts over after every boot, you can enable the syslog server.

Will have a look into that, thanks!

That just means that the array was not shutdown tidily which is what is expected if you got an unexpected reboot.

That's what I thought, thanks for clearing it up!
