my server is running out of memory ( 32gb)

I have a couple of vm and around 52 containers running.

1- Fedora server 2048M

2- windows 10 8192M

 

I noticed there 2 errors in syslog multiple times.

 do I really need to upgrade the ram or is there some kind of problem with my system?

Look on the docker tab in advanced view and see what's using the most amount of memory and then limit it.  You have at least one container that's running java and IIRC it's a real pig on memory use.
