joeyeamigh
The WebUI froze and I was unable to load it from any of my devices or browsers, so I ssh'd into the tower and issued the reboot command. Once Unraid came back online, all of my content was present except for about 600GB of data in the domains share. The domains share was on an NVMe SSD only, and even when the SSD is explored over ssh, all of the other shares that were on the drive are there, but the domains share is empty. I have genuinely no idea how this could have happened, as the libvrt image is fully intact and each of the VMs still shows in the Gui, it seems as if someone deleted all content in the domains folder. Any help would be greatly appreciated. tower-diagnostics-20230518-2221.zip Quote Link to comment

Solution JorgeB Posted May 19, 2023 Solution Share Posted May 19, 2023 That share only exists on disk1, so if it's empty not much else you can other than restore from a backup, if one is available. Quote Link to comment
joeyeamigh
Is there anything I can do to ensure this doesn’t happen again? I am very concerned as to why it happened and am now worried about the rest of my data. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Files don't just disappear, something must have happened, but you should have backups of anything important. Quote Link to comment
joeyeamigh
I have never had an issue with Unraid before and there are almost no similar reports on the internet so I will chalk this up to making a mistake somewhere that I didn’t notice and be more careful next time. Thank you for your help. 1 Quote Link to comment
