sunbin
Hi My unraid server is down due to a broken motherboard or PSU. I am going to take a break from the hardware repair and want to have access to the files on the unraid server. How can I do that, if I have another windows desktop to plug this disk to? Thanks. Michael_P
You can* mount it in Windows, just Google it and follow one of the many guides to 'Mount a Linux disk in Windows' Quote Link to comment

All the array disks are free-standing file systems. You can easily access them from any Linux system (perhaps by booting a Linux Live system), but if using a Windows system you need to have drivers for the file system being used. You could also I guess use file recovery software like UFS Explorer to get files off the drives or perhaps Linux Reader software. Quote Link to comment
sunbin
So which disk should I access? Parity? I have more than 2 storage disks and 1 parity disk Quote Link to comment
