I am currently running an old 1U refurb with 13 3.5 drives that is also running my plex server + other dockers. 

 

If I make my older gaming computer (i7k + 2070 + 64GB ram) an unraid server, do I need another license?  OR am I losing something in translation since I want to run unraid for everything.  My older gaming computer should probably handle all the transcodes and media perhaps?

    Each boot USB stick needs a unique license. If you move a single USB stick to a different set of hardware you don't need a new license, it moves with the stick.
