Posted August 21, 201113 yr Hi Guys, I'm new to UnRaid and quite a noob when it comes to Linux. All I can say is so far I'm very impressed with UnRAID. Just order the pro key, and built a new rig, now I just need to move all may data onto it. All good so far, just having issues getting thumbnails to work on the PS3. I'm running the latest beta build of UnRAID and after digging up all the latest packages for Slackware 13.37 of Mplayer, FFMPEG and JRE and all the mencoder packages, it's running fine. Just can't seem to get those darn thumbnails. I've tried a few versions of PS3MediaServer including the originally posted pms-linux-1.10.5 version, suggested for UNRAID 4.7. None of them seems to want to display the thumbnails so I suspect I'm missing a package somewhere down the line. I even tried editing the pms.conf to set "use_mplayer_for_video_thumbs = false" but no joy. Any suggestions from the experts :-). August 22, 201113 yr Also you need to make sure your not using MPlayer to generate thumbnails. I can't for the life of me get MPlayer to work on my server, everything else works fine however!
