Parity-Check pause

Featured Replies

Hi all!

I've seen on my Unraid server that the schedule for the parity-check starts the operation but something pause it after some hours.

What can cause a parity check pause?

Thank you very much!

Best regards

Both the base scheduling and the mover tuning plugin have options to do incremental checks e.g. so it only runs during the night, pauses in the morning, and resumes at night until done to avoid slowing things down during the day. Check your settings for those.

I think you meant ‘parity check tuning’ plugin rather than the ‘mover tuning’ plugin ? 😊.  If it is the Parity Check Tuning plugin then it will put entries in the syslog when it pauses (or resumes) any array operation and (if you have that option enabled) raise notifications as well.
