Unable to reach webui/ssh after update to 6.12

Featured Replies

Hello,

recently when I upgraded to 6.12 RC7 I lost all access to webui and since then I was not able to connect to server with any means (VPN, local network, ssh, webui, docker Firefox, unriad GUI) I tried upgrading manually update files to USB, and it didn't help, the server is on 6.12.2

docker is accessible normally

I don't want to use ssl, https, unraid connect, i just to have access via VPN or local … no public IP access or similar

I did also try searching forums and tried few things but nothing helped nor restarting webui

*Recently I had to do new config because 3 disk was mark as wrong

what settings I should change?

Not quite sure why you are talking about the 6.12.0 rc7 release if you are 6.12.2?   Have I missed something?

Try renaming /boot/config/network.cfg to .old and reboot, note that it it will default to DHCP.

I already tied it, I won't help also tried to delete network-rules. Is there anything else I can do?

Post new diags with a new network.cfg, also are you trying to access the GUI by name or IP?

OK, tomorrow I post it, and I was accessing it with name, name.local, ip, vpn1ip, vpn2ip, unriad connect address, but always I get ether can't reach or server denied access http error

So I renamed network.conf to *.old and after reboot server got new IP so I tried to connect and now getting 404 not found nginx

Please also read the release notes of Unraid 6.12.0 which have more information about remote access.

That indicates something is wrongly configured in your network settings.

Need diagnostics to see this.

I can't access webui I cannot generate new logs

You can still do it in the CLI, assuming there's a keyboard/monitor connected to the server, or you have IPMI.

In that case it should be fine.
