How to fix a broken unraid

Featured Replies

Hey all, I keep getting a very slow parity sync, and it keeps stalling.  I am getting sync at 720 kb/s or something like that.  I am not sure what the problem is, however I have followed the other post like changing the sata port and the sata cable however now it just says that it is missing both of the drives.  I am so confused, and am thinking I might just take all of the data drives, and plug them into my windows pc, and then start again and copy all of the info back onto the raid one drive at a time.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

AC

You must be used to working with MS-Windows.  Re-loading the OS is almost NEVER the answer with Linux, and certainly not with unRAID, since it is entirely re-loaded every time you reboot.
