Read errors, maybe marvel controller issue?

Recommended Posts

Hello! i just started with unraid recently, with and old computer i own, is a P6X58D Premium motherboard that has 8 SATA ports, 6 with an Intel ICH10R controller, and another 2 with a MARVELL 88SE9123 controller. (i check in bios to always use AHCI)

The thing is, i start adding drives in the intel controller and everything was fine, the problem was with the first one i add in the marvel controller, i was able to add it to the array, but in certain moment when adding data to it, it give me some read errors and the device disable itself (content emulated), because the smart information and the surface test of the disk was good, i try to re-add the same disk to the array, but i end with the same errors.

I have another new disk to add in the future, and i replace that for the one with the failure, and start the parity again, but i have also read errors at the 44,4% of the process

I get the diagnostics after that error (no rebooting)

Can someone help me with this, in order to know if the problem is with the controller or if i have 2 disk with errors?

Thanks!!

P.D. i already purchase an LSI 9211-8i P20 IT Mode to replace all the disk but i will receive it in 10/15 days...
