PsykoRage
Hello I have been strugging with read errors on multiple drives, even after running extended SMART test, some of these are brand new 8TB drives. This happens while moving data from my old Windows-server to the new Unraid-server. See attached diagnostics, I don't even know where to start to look from here... 2 drives are now disabled, currently running a parity check. regulus-diagnostics-20231112-1252.zip Edited November 12, 2023 by PsykoRage Additional info Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Looks like a controller issue, disks are dropping two by two. Quote Link to comment
PsykoRage
That was my suspicion aswell, I had 2 of the same controllers and already returned one because it was DOA. Guess I'll just have to wait and see what the result of that is first. Quote Link to comment
itimpi
Another possibility might be power issues. This could be a PSU problem, but can also occur if you use power splitters to get the number of connections you need. Quote Link to comment
