DieFalse
I have lost my filesystem and shares four times in the last three days, I am suspicious of potentional hardware failure causing it but can not pinpoint the issue. Rebooting restores and the array goes back to normal, this only occurs when the filesystem is being hammered by more than 1.6Gbps downloads. Diagnostics attached, please help. blinky-diagnostics-20240309-0419.zip Quote Link to comment
Solution JorgeB Posted March 9 Solution Share Posted March 9 Mar 8 22:22:45 blinky emhttpd: device /dev/sdo problem getting id Mar 8 22:22:45 blinky emhttpd: device /dev/sdl problem getting id This means some devices are being detected in duplicate, connect only one cable from the HBA to the external enclosure. Also disk4 got disabled, rebooting won't fix it, you will need to rebuild, if the emulated disk mounts and contents look correct. Quote Link to comment
DieFalse
Won't I lose throughput by dropping to a single sas connector to the enclosure? Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
No, with those enclosures they are used for redundancy, not bandwidth. Quote Link to comment
