Richy1989
Hello, i have a cache pool set up with only one device. I use this to send ZFS Snapshots to the Array. At one point I added a mirror device to the pool, mirrored the data and then removed the old device since it was smaller than the new one. This worked pretty well. In the command line everything is ok, it shows me a pool with 1 device: pool: cache state: ONLINE scan: scrub repaired 0B in 00:01:02 with 0 errors on Thu Mar 14 21:02:19 2024 config: NAME STATE READ WRITE CKSUM cache ONLINE 0 0 0 nvme1n1p1 ONLINE 0 0 0 However the Unraid GUI has another opinion. First of all i cannot tell it that it is a 1 device pool, and then it added a 3rd device, see the screenshots below. Why are there 3 devices, and why can't I remove tell the Unraid that only 1 device is in this pool. Can somebody tell me what I am doing wrong? Would really appreciate some help. Thanks so much. Best Regards! Edited March 15 by Richy1989 Quote Link to comment
Solution JorgeB Posted March 15 Solution Share Posted March 15 Stop the array, unassign the pool device, start array, stop array, set the pool to one slot, assign the pool device, start array, that should do it. Quote Link to comment
