March 26, 20242 yr Hi there, I am trying to move data to reset my configuration for my cache pool. Started mover and it moved some data. Now there is zero activity on the drives and the mover button is greyed out. I reset the stats to see any changes but nothing happens.
March 26, 20242 yr Author OK, maybe I found the root of the problem. appdata is on Disk1 and contains old data from a previous install. Can I just delete this and start with a new config?

If a file exists in more than one location it is up to you to manually decide which copy to keep and delete the other one. The Dynamix File Manager is probably a good way to do this.

March 27, 20242 yr Author Yes, everything is now on the cache drive. Edited March 27, 20242 yr by Civic1201
March 27, 20242 yr Community Expert That shows that those shares have some files on cache. It doesn't show that appdata, domains, and system no longer have any files on the array.
March 27, 20242 yr Author I want to keep that shares on my cache drives only. I checked the disks of the server and could not find any "copies" of these folders/shares. Is there another way to check?

On the User Shares page, you can click Compute... for a share to see how much of each disk/pool is used by a particular user share.
March 27, 20242 yr Author Yes, appdata, domains, and system shares are only on the cache drive. edit: but I found this: These are emty folders on the disks. Is it safe to delete them using mc? Edited March 27, 20242 yr by Civic1201
