I'm looking for the original Microsoft Intellimouse 1.1 USB. This is the model that has a side button, but it is ONLY one button. The mouse that replaced this model is the Intellimouse 3.0 which has two buttons on the side, BUT is built like crap. I'm dying to find a couple of these original mice since they aren't made anymore. Maybe some of the shopping experts can help out here?

as i read this, i flip over my mouse and read the bottom (after going blind from the LED).. IntelliMouse 1.1a optical.

I know what you're looking for.. I might have some floating around the junk bins as work since that is where i found this one in cherry condition. I am on holiday so it will be a few weeks before i can check.

I should ask, is the A model OK or just the 1.1?

Sorry, here is a picture. That button on the side is ONE button. The "new" ones are made with two buttons on the side. It's like those old PS/2 keyboards that were made like tanks and the keys felt perfect.

heh my intellimouse is even older then those, OK pass on that.

you mention ps/2 keyboards. Are you into the older built like a tank IBM keyboards?

I have a few a white one and two black ones. PS/2 interface. strong keyclick.

Raj got me going in emptying out my parts closet. LOL!

those things rock.. with the removable key caps and the curly wire that you can unplug from the keyboard side also..

somewhere i also have a ton of replacement keys in all colors from POS and  scientific applications..

my favorite is the RED "Emergency" key... no clue what it does, but I i had it where ESC should have been.

funny thing is, they now sell analog keyboards again for a premium.

If you want a NEW old style IBM (tank) keyboard, they are still being made, just under a new company name, Unicomp.

The website: http://pckeyboards.stores.yahoo.net/

They are big, heavy, an have the same click-feel. They can be had in USB versions. They are also sold at a premium, but I at least felt they were worth it. I am pretty sure this may be the last keyboard I will ever need.

That is of course barring rain for forty days and nights, requiring saving all earth's animals, two by two.  ;)

I wish they had a model of the endurapro without the numeric keypad.

Know any keyboards like this or similar without the numeric keypad?

I'm using an Saite Eclipse with silver keys, which is nice, but I would prefer white because I work in a dim room.

The whole back lighting thing with these keyboards isn't really useful.

I found these years ago, and have not looked since.

I never threw out a lot of my keyboards. Now, I wish I can use them since they feel very nice and do have the "click" feel. Tough suckers they are. They are all PS/2 which I can't use of course. I don't think an adapter would work.
