HomerJ
Hi all you smarter people than me! 😉  I was watching Plex not long ago when the power was cutoff to our house. 10 seconds later it all came back on, and the server booted up as normal. This is the first time that something like this has happened, and it got me wondering about how ready my unRAID server is to deal with this sort of event. Anyways, I went to the Dashboard and found that a SMART error had been recorded against my newest drive.  I have no experience at all with SMART errors, so I was hoping someone here might be able to share what they know and explain what the report means. The zip file is attached. Thanks in advance!  tower-smart-20240429-1505.zip Quote Link to comment

Solution JorgeB Posted April 29 Solution Share Posted April 29 Sorry, though you posted the complete diags. Â CRC UDMA errors are usually a SATA cable problem, replace the SATA cable and acknowledge the current value, as long as it doesn't keep increasing, the problem is resolved. 1 Quote Link to comment

Unraid really doesn't like having the power cut, you are lucky more didn't go wrong. 1 Quote Link to comment
