installed everything on the stick and configured unmenu but now i am stuck with this problem:

it is mentioned before in the version 4 thread : http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=2138.0

(i'm not a linux expert,but learning ;))

running 5beta14 ,can somebody help me with this :(  ,i tried several things with chmod 755/750

(i also don't need multiple user shares,admin/root is enough)

home setup:

macbook

mac mini

windows XP & 7

ubuntu (for learning purpose)

using the mac mini for plex ,so the unraid server should be a movie/music server

(for adding files i was planning to use ftp on all machines)

Any particular reason you want to use FTP... SMB will work perfectly fine.

It is easier to edit and move files....(and faster i think)

ftp may result in permissions problems. I'd recommend using NFS on version 4.7 for a mixed environment.
