ethyr2000
I stumbled on this - https://www.friendlyelec.com/index.php?route=product%2Fproduct&product_id=294 I could imagine it with 1 m.2 adapter for a 10gb sfp+ port and m.2 sata adapters with 5 sata port each on the remaining 3 sockets. Primarily for backup.. but low power. Quote Link to comment
ethyr2000
oh.. And it's $90 for the board.. of course the adapters and drives are separate. Quote Link to comment
RT87
I tend to agree, over the years ARM matured a lot and has seen some quite significant improvements. Hell, regarding JUST the performance you could probably nowadays run a simple, backup-focused Unraid on a flagship smartphone. And since adapters as the one above become more widespread, I see no particular reason why not to include ARM (besides the obvious one, which is the effort to do so). Quote Link to comment

Trying to keep all the current combinations of motherboards, CPU's, HBA's, etc. working smoothly is bad enough. I can't even imagine trying to troubleshoot why some container won't run on the latest Samsung Galaxy S(whatever). 1 Quote Link to comment
