July 11, 20241 yr Hello Guys, recently my UnRaid unmouted one drive from my Array. I checked the cables and connectios. Suprisely, the HDD was moved to Unassigned Devices. After fixing the problem, Array has need to rebuild and after a entire check, some errors has appear at the drive. I dont know if the error is critical and if i need to replace this HDD. Somebody can help me? kraken-diagnostics-20240711-1213.zip

July 11, 20241 yr Community Expert Since you have significant numbers of both Reallocated Sectors and Pending Sectors then I would say that drive should be replaced.

For most drives these can remain zero throughout their lifetime. There are also a lot of Pending Sectors (ones that could not be read reliably). Again these could be cleared when they are next written but they are a worrying sign. If you are not sure if you want to consider replacing it then you can try running the Extended SMART test. If it passes that error free then you might want to consider retaining it but keep a close eye on it.

At dashboard Dashboard errors don't show up in the log, and since you didn't specify which disk was the problem I wasn't going to look at SMART for all. Like mentioned, run an extended SMART test, and if it fails, and it probably will, replace it.
July 12, 20241 yr Author Solution Sadly, not even a extended test could be completed on disk. Replaced. Thank you all.
