July 18, 20241 yr Ok, so I want to install my .vdi instance of home assistant that's fully updated. I know that there is a docker of HA, but it's not the full version, and it will not alllow me to restore from a cloud backup.. So I clicked on the 'custom' link, and it brings up a blank .XML page that I have no idea how to configure. Is thee a guide or something i can go read? Thanks in advance -James
July 18, 20241 yr I don't think you can use a vdi directly, I believe it must be converted to a raw image first. After you have a raw image, just define a new VM using the normal GUI and point the primary disk to your image.
