USB Creator "override" UID check

Hi,

 

reason

we often recommend to start over with a clean Installation when things are may messed up, especially at the beginning ..

 

Users now cant use the Creator anymore as the new creator wont go further after USB check

 

solution

Info that this stick is "already blacklisted as licenced", proceed anyway yes / no

 

now we have to advice the "old school" way with manual install, copy key manually, ...

Do you mean it's not allowing to create a flash drive with a valid licensed GUID? It appears to be working for me.

It was not clear for me at first, too.

 

I think that the issue would be while trying to recreate a fresh install on your existing flashdrive since the creator would prohibit the creation since the GUID is already known.

That was what I tested, and it's working for me, what do you get, a blacklisted GUID?

honestly, i never use the USB creator myself  but i have some feedback about it when i suggest to redo the stick to get a clean start ...

 

we have too many users (mostly beginners) who start with all kinda tools, read something "somewhere", see "some yt videos" ... and then we are "messed up".

 

and feedback is usually always, stick is blacklisted message ... sample

 

 

as i dont want to redo my servers ... just for fun ... i only can share experiences from feedback

 

but i also will test it myself with my other licence, current state ist ... like described.
