Data-Rebuild paused two times and then started again

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have exchanged an 8TB hard disk for a 16TB hard disk to get more storage space.

The data rebuild started normally, but was then paused the next day. I was able to start it again, but it was paused again the next day.
When I clicked on resume again, the process started all over again.

Am I missing something?

Should I turn of the increment rebuild?

Yep

Strange that increments was turned on for rebuild but off for the other type of array operations that are more common and when it is more likely to be wanted!

Sounds like the system was doing exactly what the user set it to do (and then perhaps forgot that had been set).😀
