Featured Replies

Hi,

Waking up this morning and sees that my cache drive reporting high use.

My cache drives are two 1tb nvme drives setup as raid1.

starting to look around to what have filled up my cache when i realize that my cache is smaller than 1tb.

I have done a smart test, no errors reported.
this happened on unraid 6.12.11, i have now upgraded to 6.12.13, but unraid still only reports 350gb for my cache drives.

what can be wrong?

What can I learn from this? I have no clue why this happened and how I can prevent it or what I can do different

Schedule a balance to be run automatically every so often.

Very strange to have so much space allocated to metadata, did you recently write a lot of small files to the pool?

In any case you can avoid this by scheduling a balance, like once a month.

Not that i know of, just the average everyday use.

I have the appdata folder on the cache, it is if some apps would have done something.
