December 9, 20241 yr Author Does anyone have a link to a guide for creating a backup of my array so I can format without problems? a second pool in raid with the first? or any other kind of solution Edited December 9, 20241 yr by Lordbye
December 9, 20241 yr Community Expert You can create a raidz1 pool for example, and use rsync to copy the data.

December 11, 20241 yr Community Expert I meant a second pool. Zfs supports compression, you can enable that when creating the pool, but some data, like media files, is usually already compressed, so that won't compress much, if anything, other types of files can compress a lot.
