Hello,

Windows 11 23H2 OS Build 22635.4655

Logged in using Microsoft account.

I just cant seem to connect from explorer to my unraid server.

I can ping it, but port 445 is not open.

I am so frustrated that I am hoping someone can help me narrow and organize this troubleshooting process.

I am unable to connect using a laptop or my desktop. So two different computers.

See the December 4, 2025 EDIT in the first post of this thread:

You probably need to make sure that Unraid will use SMB signing if required by the client by adding the code required to the Samba Extras.

EDIT:  Sorry, I thought you were on 24H2 rather than 23H2...

Edited by Frank1940

Just to check something have you made sure the share you want to be accessed is exported at the Unraid level?

Post up your Diagnostics file if you require further assistance.

The answer was SMB signing thank you!

Check this out, my RMM software shows my device on Windows 11 24H2

When using "Winver" command it shows Version 23H2.

No idea why Action1 shows my device as Win 11 24H2 and Winver shows different but I did reboot and ran commands again with same results.
