December 20, 20241 yr Please help dumb this down for me, I have run many smart tests and still get the error. I also re-seated the SATA connections along with tried new cables, nothing fixed it so I do believe its the drive. My two questions I have are these: 1. Can someone help me dissect the logs to help confirm if I should replace the drive itself with a new one? Note this is a second cache drive. (SMART test and Pic attached). 2. What method is easiest/best for me to replace it if so. I have googled some ways and read up on it but see multiple different ways to do it. Do I need to back anything up first as well and if so best way to do that as well. As always I appreciate the help! Unconfirmed 438283.crdownload
December 20, 20241 yr Community Expert Doesn't look great, and the SMART tests have been failing for a while, probably prudent to replace it.
December 20, 20241 yr Author what guide would you suggest to replace it? Its cache 2 in the pool, I just dont want to mess something up in doing so. Ill order a new drive today though to be safe.

December 20, 20241 yr Author perfect will save and try when I get the new drive in this weekend, another dumb question. How do I tell if its BTRFS or ZFS currently?
