Intel Arc A380 Fan Control

I searched the forum but didn't find anything about controlling the fan of an Intel Sparkle A380 card.  The fan on mine spins up and down constantly at idle.  It's not a big deal, and only noticeable because my desk is right next to my server, but wanted to know if anyone has found a solution to the ramp up and down.  Power states maybe?

Experiencing same issue. Not a huge deal, but also should be pretty unnecessary for it to do that while not in use.

if this is the bug I think it is then you need to add the card to a windows machine, install the intel drivers and let it update the firmware. Its a bug.

You can create a Windows To Go installation on some USB-stick with Rufus. Put the Intel installer on the same drive, boot it on the Unraid server and run the install. It will update the firmware in your Arc card during installation. Fan curve should be better in newer firmware. Not solved, but better.

Latest release from Intel:

You can also update the fw from Unraid but that's much more involved and all manual work in terminal.
