So is unraid like JBOD? I'm wondering if it will show up as like 20TB drive instead of each drive. When I use sick beard, wil I have to constantly watch the harddrives and reorder shows as need be?

    More like Parity Protected JBOD

     

    You can put any combination of drives together and also have it parity protected (the Parity Drive must be the same size or larger than the largest HDD)

     

    You can choose to access each disk individually or create a user share which shows as one large volume and splits data over different disks.

     

    have a read through the UnRaid manual and FAQ, you should be able to find most of what you need there.
