Setup syslog server Finally got one right after it crashed! I noticed it said cache is full for a little before that but its supposed to be running mover to take it down to like 10% before building up to 60% then moving again or something like that. Other than that I'm not sure thanks for any pointers! syslog-192.168.1.172.log
April 11, 20251 yr I've seen a ton of issues where unraid 7+ is crashing randomly... this can't be isolated issues. Mine is still doing it. I've got it less frequent with some tweaks and changes, but it still crashes at least once a month on my AMD platform. What are your specs, OP? Containers you're running? Could look through diagnostics but uh... too lazy

April 11, 20251 yr Community Expert Since you have multiple RAM sticks, try using the server with just one pair, if the same try with the other one, that will basically rule out bad RAM, but since it's a 14900K, it could also be the Intel 13/14 gen issue.

The Ryzen 3900xt did the exact same thing but I did turn the system on with each ram stick individually to test it and ran the plugin to test my ram on unsaid and everything passed as well on it ran a couple passes on it no errors came back. Do you think I should test them all again? Or do you think it could be a issue that doesn’t show up immediately in the ram?
April 11, 20251 yr Community Expert Difficult to say, it may be worth testing again, since it's the easiest thing to rule out.

April 12, 20251 yr Author 9 hours ago, JorgeB said: Correct. Ruled this out I put in completely separate sticks from a well working pc and it crashed after about 3 hours its random between 3 hours to 1 day ish
April 12, 20251 yr Author Also can a failing cache drive cause crashes like this? My scrutiny app is saying my cache failed it’s checks but it was like 13 ECC errors I think it said
April 13, 20251 yr Author 2 hours ago, JorgeB said: That basically confirms it's a hardware issue, or bad power. Awesome thanks! i guess ill play around with it for a bit and see what i can find is there anything that normally stands out in this case after ram? im about to replace my cache drive to see what that does appreciate all the help as well!
