April 27, 20251 yr Long story short - I suspect my HDD Caddy is at fault here, no matter what HDD I plug in I get increasing UDMA CRC errors. This is the caddy I am using - works fine if it wasnt for these errors. https://amzn.eu/d/h9ydmLi I dont want to disable these errors system wide as I feel that might hide real issues in the future. I have a few spare 3TB HDDs I rotate in this caddy for backup purposes. Can someone recommend a solution to this issue, do I need to get a different caddy? any ideas which one is best?

Second, a different USB port preferably on a different MB chip.
