May 5, 201214 yr Hey guys so plugins are coming along amazing keep up the great work the only issue is that the plugins are all installed on the USB and lots of these plugins (sickbeard, sabnzbd) are very read write heavy (the data base files on the usb) and this will decrease the life of the usb stick. Just throwing out the idea of making a global variable to change default directory of plugin install folder to a user share for example
May 5, 201214 yr I set them all up to use my cache drive as their data directory - use a period as the beginning of their directory name and the mover script will ignore them.... Myk
May 11, 201214 yr None of the plug-ins install directly to the USB drive. Sab and sickbeard for instance install to /usr/local, which is in RAM. This is why its recommended that the data directory be located somewhere else, usually a cache drive or user share. Not sure about all the plug-ins, but sab and sickbeard default to ram, not USB.
