May 24, 20251 yr Hi,I'm a new unRaid user, have built a small NAS server and had 1 WD drive in it running all well, I've just placed a Seagate Barracuda drive which I used for my Synology device into it, and formatted it and put into the array which seemed to be fine. However I got a SMART warning error saying that the UDMA CRC error count was 93442.Searching this up, alot of people are advising it's the SATA cables, however I've reseated both ends, and also swapped cables with no luck and it still says there is an error. I've cleared the warning as well, ran a short SMART test (which said there were no errors), and now I'm running an extended test. There is no issue with the other drive, only this one. I think the drive is about 5 years, had no issues when it was installed in my synology drive. Any suggestions? Should I be worried regarding this? Attached is the smart report for the drive. May 24, 20251 yr Author I have an Intel N150 NAS motherboards into a Jonsbo N2 case, the case provides hub board with two molex connectors (both plugged in securely).I've acknowledged the error on the array (which I didn't do, I had just cleared the notification!) and it hasn't reppeared, I will keep an eye on it as it's still doing a scan.Thank you.
