It seems to include the absence of a user name as special case. EDIT: After a bit of reflection, I am recalling that the Windows client will go through a series of steps to log onto a server. First it looks for a Windows Credential to use. If no credential, it will then use the user name and password that you used to log into the Windows GUI. If there is no Unraid Share Access user setup for that Windows user name, then Unraid (in the default mode) will offer a Guest connection to the Windows client.
