May 11, 201214 yr Hi all. At the moment I have a unRAID server running 4.7 (unregistered upgrading to pro within a month) with the following hardware. Abit AB9-QuadGT 2x 1GB DDR2 667 1 x 2TB Segate (Parity) 1 x 1TB Seagate and 1x 1TB Hitachi (Storage) onboard lan, sata etc Now onto the questions. - If my motherboard fails can I still maintain my unRAID installation if I have my config backed up ? - What part of my flash drive should I be backing up to make sure my config is safe in case of question 1 ? - Does 4.7 support 3TB drives ? - If my parity hard drive dies can I swap it over for another 2TB drive and rebuild the parity from my storage drives ? Thankyou in advance

Yes Even if the config is not backed up, data and shares (with default config) will migrate to new hardware.
May 14, 201214 yr One thing I definately recommend doing is taking a screenshot of your unRAID WebUI "Main" and/or "Devices" page to easily put your disks back the right way if you ever need to. I built an unRAID box for a customer and had it all setup nice and neat, he got it home and snapped the flash drive clean in half before he even had a chance to turn it on.. So one email to Tom for a new GUID then had to re-setup his shares, the screenshots certainly helped.
