Upgrade from 7.0.1 to 7.2 plugin error

Same error. So probably not specific to our installs but a mess up of the unraid team. Guess I'll wait for the 7.2.1, should've known better.

What is the full text of the message shown in the popup window? It feels like something was cut off.

Also diagnostics would be helpful, like JorgeB said

So in my case it turns out I needed to update my unraid connect plugin. From the plugins screen it did not show an update was needed. However from the ca screen I clicked update and then after that upgrading to 7.2 was very smooth.

@ljm42 was correct, I failed to paste in the part about the unraid connect plugin in the error because at the time I did not realize it was relavent.

Thanks for confirming @joecool169

Please read the whole message, it is likely telling you to upgrade Connect before upgrading the OS.

This check was added because an older version of Connect would downgrade shared files and break things, causing you to the think the release was bugged. Everything is solved by upgrading Connect first.

Same. Was indeed updating the plugins.

I had the same issue! However, for me it was due to the system temp plugin. Uninstalling the plugin allowed my update to proceed as intended.
