Good evening everyone. What is the safest way to remove a hard drive from the system? I only have one disk without parity, and for testing I installed another one that is empty and I want to remove it.

Good evening! You can simply go to "Tools -> New Config".
Assign only the new drive, after, and you can remove the previous.

Thank you for the quick response. I will test it on Sunday and update. I also have an SSD that I use as a cache drive and I want to upgrade it with a faster and higher speed NVMe. Can you tell me the safest way to do it?

Through the GUI. The new config works too.

Just to be clear ,if i assign the one drive that i want and remove the empty one, will i loose the data on the remainig drive?

It will keep the data, as long as it is assigned to a data slot, not parity.
