Hello.

Im having some problems transfering some media files from my cachyos linux pc to my server.. I use dolphin and tried krusaider once also, but it didnt work..

It might have something to do with the names, it had /// in it. But even when i renamed the files it still couldnt copy??

Anyone who knows why??

The connection to the client was closed unexpectedly; this suggests Unraid didn’t stop the transfer, the client did. Can you transfer from another PC to Unraid?

I am still able to transfer other files to and from the server, with same pc..

If it helps I'm using cachyos??

Do you have a another one you can try with? Toyu can borrow a laptop for a family member or friend, or try transferring data from a Tablet or Phone just as a test

At the moment i do not have another pc at hand.. I saw somewhere that it could be because of the file names combines with samba.. So I've tried to change those with thunar, and it still does not work.. When transfering it says somthing about the location, could that be the problem?? I've tried to change those as well. As for now, i can transfer some files and not others.. Even in the same folder..

Anyone with some idea of how to fix this??

Can you be more specific with the details? The exact wording of the error message and where it is being generated. The exact name of the files with problems. (You do realize that using special characters in file names-- other than an underscore ( _ ) or a dash ( - ) --you are asking for problems when you transfer files between OS's. Even a space requires special handing in many OS's!)
