January 26Jan 26 I want to upgrade from version 5.0.3I am running 2 data, 1 parity disk on a HP Proliant MicroServerWhat is the recommended path forward?Do I purchase a Starter license and go from there?
January 26Jan 26 If you already have a license from back then, it is a legacy lifetime license and will still work since you don't have many drives.Look on your flash drive for your .key file. These days it is in the config folder but it might have been at the top level back then.Make a copy of your .key file, make note of your drive assignments. Put a new install of Unraid on your flash drive, put your .key file in the config folder.Assign your disks. You will have to convert your data disks from ReiserFS to XFS since ReiserFS is being removed from linux. That means you will have to copy your data somewhere and reformat each disk.
January 26Jan 26 If you want to use new larger disks, you could just assign them from the beginning, and use Unassigned Devices plugin to copy your old disks to them.

Note that licenses won't work with 5.x, so you will need to upgrade at the same time.

You need a paid-for licence from an old release to avoid having to buy a new one.

I will purchase a new license and go from there.
