February 5Feb 5 I apologize if this is documented elsewhere, but after some searching I'm still not sure what the best practice would be in this case:My array configuration is 2 parity slots + 5 data slots, but I have removed the Parity 2 disk and checked/rebuilt parity. I want to switch to a new configuration with 1 parity slot + 6 data slots. How do I do that very safely?Bonus question: if I later want to go from 1 parity slot + 6 data slots to 1 parity slot + 4 or 5 data slots, how would I proceed? Thanks for any hints!

(PS-- It is better to remove Parity2 than Parity1 as the math for Parity2 is a very complex math operation!) Edited February 6Feb 6 by Frank1940 "better to remove Parity2 than Parity1" was "better to remove Parity1 than Parity2 ". (Not completely awake this morning...
